Direct selling is a good way to start a business of your own. Specially true if you never had any business background, education or experience before. Here, you can free yourself from the burden of thinking what to sell, how to make them and where to get the materials. You can already jump into the marketing and selling part as soon as you start.
All business involves sales and marketing – this is where the money comes in. With Direct Selling, all you need to do is choose the product that fits your personality, passion, and your circle of influence. Once you have chosen the product and brand that you can be proud of selling and representing, you just need to use and understand the products and the marketing plan – then you’re good to go.
It’s been said that eagles fly alone and is not afraid of being outnumbered. But then again, it can feel lonely being alone on the top right? In a Direct-Selling business, you are in the business for yourself, but you are never by yourself. You will surely have someone with you.

Normally, the person who shared the business with you does not earn from your membership fee in a legitimate Direct-Selling company. Like any traditional retail businesses, your earning is though product movement both by yourself and by your team.
The beauty of this is that you can do direct selling part-time. Personally, I have been doing direct selling of skincare products part-time for 13 years as an IT Professional. So, I can dare say, it is doable.
I did not say it is easy. Direct selling is not a get rich quick scheme and it is not a bed of roses. But, if you are willing to go through the process – which is mostly about personal growth – then, you can earn really well. Income from direct-selling is both passive and active. Active for the selling part and passive for the team building part.
